Art is a journey for me. It is filled with challenges and new perspectives. I have many people phoning me and inquiring about graffiti wall murals or graffiti on canvas. Graffiti was challenging the first time I did it, but it has become one of my favorite forms of art. It combines the beauty of powerful words with color and passion. The car and diner mural was challenging for me, but it was an awarding adventure. I live for the challenges in art and look forward to the new adventure it takes me on. I love being part of people's imagination and inspiration and I am thankful for every opportunity art has brought me.
The Italian Fairy
I was commissioned to make this artwork with acrylic paint on an oval canvas, 16" by 20". The painting represents some of the clients favorite things, some of her heritage, and some poignant memories. I am honored to be a part of people's inspiration and life through creating art. I am thankful for these opportunities to to touch other's lives with an artwork.
Caricatures
I like to continously learn new things and challenge my artistic ability. I recently discovered the joy of caricatures. I love how it brings a smile to my face and to other people's faces. Caricatures are silly fun and I am having a great time practicing this art form. The therapy of a smile can do wonders. If you would like to try making caricatures yourself, check out this website Learn to Draw.com or check out some books from your local library. It is guaranteed to make you smile whether they look like the person or not. Enjoy the silliness of caricatures.

These are some of the projects I have been working on near Calgary. (from left to right) The F18 watercolor painting is called "The Dream". I made it for my son whose dream is to one day be a F18 pilot. My second painting is an original acrylic on canvas board. It is called "Wolves: Guardians of the Past, Present, Future". The last painting I made was made for a crest. It was a custom order. The colors and images all have meaning behind them. It is an acrylic painting on paper. Azure color means truth and lovalty, gold is elevation of the mind, wolves are guardians of past, present and future, and the ivy leaves are strong and lasting friendship. I loved making this crest, not only because of the artwork I was challenged to do, but because of what these images and colors mean. I hope this crest inspires others. The original art was created by artist: Raine.
